India has one of the highest numbers of children without access to the basic needs of food, education and a roof over their heads. As per a United Nations evaluation, India has the maximum of malnourished children, even leading to death due to starvation.
The elderly citizens have given their lives, earning livelihood for their families, nurturing their children, providing the foundation for a better future. In the twilight years of their lives, these elderly people deserve a life of dignity and care. Yet some of them are left without financial or social support all over India.
